Having a Recovery Pastor working alongside your church provides invaluable support in addressing the complex issues of addiction, dependencies, and life challenges faced by many within both the congregation and the wider community

Recovery Pastors are uniquely equipped, as the majority have personal, lived experience of overcoming addiction and significant life struggles themselves, enabling them to offer genuine empathy, insight, and hope. Their Christian faith underpins all they do, and they use the Recovery for Life 12 Step Model and The Recovery Bible as guiding frameworks to help individuals find lasting transformation. By integrating this vital ministry, churches can create a more compassionate, understanding, and effective environment for healing and restoration for everyone they serve.

What's Next

We are ready to expand and deepen our reach. Funding will allow us to:

  • Develop a national resource portal for training and peer support
  • Launch new Life Recovery groups in areas of high need, including rural and under-served communities
  • Train and establish more Recovery Pastors in churches across the UK
  • Support our founder, currently the sole staff member, to coordinate growth
  • Enhance digital resources, making support accessible anytime, anywhere
  • Strengthen partnerships, ensuring wrap-around support for every participant

This funding will help us move from grassroots growth to a stable, scalable model that continues to prioritise people and relationships.
